About the Journal
The Journal of Entrepreneurship Research (JER) is a new open-access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research on all aspects of entrepreneurship. The journal is committed to publishing high-quality, innovative research that advances the understanding of entrepreneurship and its role in economic development.
JER is a multidisciplinary journal that welcomes submissions from scholars in all fields of study, including economics, management, sociology, and psychology. The journal is particularly interested in research that examines the following topics:
- The entrepreneurial process
- Entrepreneurial ecosystems
- Entrepreneurial finance
- Entrepreneurial marketing
- Entrepreneurial leadership
- Entrepreneurial education
Submission Guidelines
JER welcomes submissions of original research articles, review articles, and case studies. All submissions must be written in English and should be between 6,000 and 8,000 words in length. Submissions should be formatted according to the journal's style guide, which is available on the journal's website.
Submissions should be submitted electronically through the journal's online submission system. The submission system is open to submissions at any time.
Review Process
All submissions to JER are subject to a rigorous peer-review process. Each submission is reviewed by two independent reviewers who are experts in the field of entrepreneurship. The reviewers' comments are used to make a decision on whether or not to accept the submission for publication.
The review process typically takes 6-8 weeks. Authors will be notified of the decision on their submission by email.
Publication
Accepted submissions are published online in the journal's next available issue. The journal is published quarterly, in March, June, September, and December.
Articles published in JER are open access, which means that they are freely available to read and download by anyone with an internet connection.
