49ers Could Trade Brandon Aiyuk

Contract Talks Stall

Multiple Teams Interested

The San Francisco 49ers are reportedly negotiating trades that would send wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk to another team. According to Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area, multiple teams have contacted the 49ers with interest in trading for Aiyuk.

Aiyuk is under contract for the upcoming 2024 NFL season at a cost of $14.1 million. However, contract talks between the two sides have stalled. If a deal cannot be reached, the 49ers could trade Aiyuk before the start of the season.

Aiyuk has been a productive receiver for the 49ers since being drafted in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. In 2022, he caught 86 passes for 1,064 yards and 8 touchdowns. However, the 49ers may be looking to upgrade their receiving corps, and Aiyuk could be a valuable trade chip.

The 49ers have a number of talented receivers on their roster, including Deebo Samuel, Jauan Jennings, and Danny Gray. If they can trade Aiyuk for a player at another position of need, it could be a beneficial move for the team.
