Bouchards Late Goal Gives Oilers Game 4 Win

Bouchard's Late Goal Gives Oilers Game 4 Win

Oilers Back in Series After Wild Finish

Edmonton Wins 3-2 in Vancouver

Evan Bouchard scored the go-ahead goal with just 39 seconds remaining in the third period, giving the Edmonton Oilers a 3-2 victory over the Vancouver Canucks in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series on Tuesday night in Vancouver. The win ties the series at 2-2 heading back to Edmonton for Game 5 on Thursday night.

Bouchard's goal came after the Canucks had tied the game just 23 seconds earlier on a goal by Carson Soucy. It was a wild finish to a game that saw the Oilers take an early lead, but then fall behind 2-1 in the second period.

Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl each had a goal and an assist for the Oilers, while Darnell Nurse added two assists. Thatcher Demko made 29 saves for the Canucks, while Mike Smith stopped 25 shots for the Oilers.

The Oilers will now look to take a series lead when they host the Canucks in Game 5 on Thursday night at Rogers Place.
